What do I need to start?
We ask each participant to watch
several classes before making a
commitment. Iai is NOT a fast paced
exercise, but a life study of one's self
within the movements of each kata.
What equipment is required?
As we are a traditional study group,
each member will require a uniform, a
bokken (wooden sword) and
eventually an iaito (practice alloy
sword.)
What age group is suitable for this line
of study?
We accept young adults and adults for
this program. Participants must be
able to responsibly handle the sword,
as safety is always the first priority.
This is not a children's class.
